Most people see a 3D memo pad and assume it’s printed. It isn’t. Every scene is a stack of individually die-cut paper sheets — often 7–9 layers deep — designed so that light, shadow and negative space form a miniature sculpture. Here is how a custom pad goes from a one-line email to a finished product at our factory in Shenzhen.
Step 1: The idea (5 minutes, on your side)
A custom order starts with almost nothing: a photo of a landmark, a rough sketch, a logo, or literally a sentence like “a panda sitting by our flagship store.” If you can describe it, our designers can build it. There is no charge for this conversation — you email, a real designer replies within hours, 24/7.
Step 2: Free 3D design proof (within 48 hours)
Our design team converts your idea into a layered paper structure and sends a 3D rendering: how many layers, which colors, how the scene reads from the front, and how it changes as pages are torn. You request revisions until it looks right. Only when you approve the rendering do we move to paper.
Step 3: Sample in 5–7 days
A physical sample is cut on our laser machines and assembled by hand — the hand-finishing is what separates a crisp scene from a blurry one. The sample ships to you with the proposed retail packaging (acrylic dust cover and gift box), so you see exactly what your customers would unbox.
Step 4: Mass production (15–25 days)
Once the sample is approved, production scales on the same line — from a 1-piece trial to 500,000 pads a month if a listing takes off. Three-stage inspection covers raw paper, mid-production and finished cartons to an AQL 2.5 standard, and we only run FSC-certified paper with EN71-3/CPSIA compliant inks, so your product passes US and EU market requirements.
Step 5: Packing and shipping
Pads ship retail-ready: gift box, acrylic cover, barcodes and inserts if you need them. We support Amazon FBA labeling and direct-to-warehouse delivery, or door-to-door express for small trial orders. Even a single piece goes through the same QC as a bulk run.
Why this matters for your business
Custom paper sculptures photograph beautifully, unbox beautifully and hold a retail price that mass-produced desk items can’t touch. And because the MOQ starts at one piece, you can test a design with almost no risk before committing to volume.
